Some restaurants just list the menu (no pictures) and sometimes we end up not getting what we are expecting. That just happened to me today. So I did some reading and came up with this.
Basically there is "long" and "short" pasta! Here are the most common.
.Fusilli.
.Penne.
.Rigate
.Fettucini.
.Linguini.
.Spaghetti
Just remember the shapes and the names... and you can dine in Italian restaurants with confidence. =)
