Japan's Transport Minister quits

Nakayama said he was stepping down to avoid a disruption of parliamentary debate. He explained that if he had stayed on, the opposition would have wasted time in parliament questioning him and Aso about his comments rather than focusing on emergency measures needed to shore up Japan's sagging economy.

Well... this is Japan. In PH "quitting" is not in the vocabulary of politicians.
